Copper Pot Cooking School is a small teaching kitchen on East 6th Street in Austin. We opened in 2019 with one idea: cooking is easier to learn standing next to a chef than reading a recipe. Every class is hands-on at your own station, and every class ends at the long table eating what you made. We run evening classes, date nights, private parties for groups, a six-week course for home cooks and a summer camp for kids. Our chefs hold food handler cards, we read every allergy note before class, and we do all the dishes.
